React Job: Software Developer

Zynatech Inc is a remote data acquisition company providing solutions to a variety of industrial sectors throughout North America. We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced, part-time developer familiar with user interfaces.

This role will be based out of our Acheson, AB office (remote work is an option for the right candidate), and will focus largely on support for customers, new implementations, and feature updates.

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Be comfortable working with minimal direct supervision
• Experience with a variety if front end web design
• Possess the ability to identify and communicate technical problems and generate solutions
• Have a professional and positive attitude with a solution-based approach to challenges

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Acting as a technical resource for clients to troubleshoot system issues and ensuring deliverables meet business and end-user requirementsWriting, updating, implementing and testing software code
• Managing work flow based on case priority levels set by senior developer (Jira)
• Contributing to quality assurance and user testing
• Documenting code updates
• Updating the user interface to enhance customer experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of programming experience
• Javascript, CSS, and any reactive framework
• Nuxt/Vue, Vuetify
• PostgreSQL
• Linux basics, to be able navigate, check files, restart services2 years of AngularJS/ReactJS coding would be a benefit
• 1 year with HTML5 and CSS3 would be an asset
• 2 years of responsive design experience would be valuable
• Possess strong English written and oral communication skills

Salary: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
